Standing at Paleaku Gardens Peace Sanctuary, in front of the lotus, I can feel that a tired version of me is ending. I don't know yet what newness is arriving in her place, but something's growing out of the muddiness, and it's going to be authentic.

The sensation of the growth is uncomfortable, and I used to think this discomfort was reasonably signaling some upcoming danger. The peace of the Gardens suggests that the discomfort is primarily about the fact that I am walking an unknown path that has not yet been experienced by my lineage.

I don't know who I'm becoming yet, but standing in front of the exquisite flower, I'm trusting the process.
