At-A-Glance

University Club, Portland OR

Wednesday, October 28, 2026

5:00 pm - 7:00 pm PT

Explore what Step Into the Pivot conversations teach us about navigating turbulence, tribulations, triumphs, and transformation.

We will examine pivotal moments, surface the principles beneath them, and turn shared insight into practical takeaways for future decisions and transitions.

The Pivot Perspective

Go beyond inspiration and into applied learning. Using real stories from the Step Into the Pivot podcast community, we will workshop how people move through uncertainty, uncover the values and that shape pivotal decisions, and turn collective wisdom into practical tools you can use in your own life and work.

Lessons Learned From Step Into the Pivot Podcast Community

What can we learn from the pivots that change our lives and work?

Every guest on Step Into the Pivot brings a different story about what happened when life or work asked them to change, whether through a career shift, a personal loss, a difficult decision, an unexpected opportunity, or a path that suddenly looked different than expected.

Across 95 conversations, certain questions keep surfacing: How do we know when it is time to move? What helps us act when certainty is unavailable? What do we learn when the pivot is chosen for us? What becomes possible when we hear how someone else found their way through?

This October, we are bringing members of the Step Into the Pivot community together to explore those questions in person.

Some pivots are intentional. Some arrive without permission. Some look courageous from the outside and feel deeply uncertain from within.

Through real stories, shared perspective, and interactive workshop-style discussion, we will examine what helps people move through change, surface the principles beneath pivotal moments, and turn collective insight into ideas you can carry into your own decisions, transitions, and leadership.
