Did you know that the collective intelligence of a team improves with a higher representation of women?

Research led by Anita Woolley at Carnegie Mellon University discovered that the collective intelligence of a group is not primarily determined by the individual IQs of its members. Instead, groups with a greater number of women tend to perform better collectively, exhibiting higher social sensitivity and better collaborative dynamics.

This can be attributed to the natural tendency of individuals to take a mindful approach, which involves calming the breath, dropping into the heart, and engaging clearer thinking. This practice not only manages stress but also fosters empathy and balanced perspectives, essential for high-pressure work situations.

For conscious leaders, it is especially important to know how to calm runaway thoughts and soothe an inflamed mind. By rewinding the mind in this way, anyone can enhance their decision-making abilities and emotional resilience, contributing to the overall effectiveness of the team.
