After a long day at work, take a moment for yourself with this mini self-care experience:
- Find a quiet spot.
- Brew a cup of soothing herbal tea or fill a glass with water.
- Choose your favorite essential oil, or some other delightful scent.
- Close your eyes, take a breath, and inhale the calming aroma.
- Sip your tea or water slowly, allowing yourself to unwind.
- Spend a few minutes in peaceful reflection. You could also journal.
- Finish by stretching gently: sit tall with both feet flat on the floor, then slowly reach your arms overhead while inhaling deeply. Allow your spine to lengthen. Exhale and gently lean to one side, and then the other, feeling the stretch along your side body.
